Economy Hearing

For over a decade, Economy Hearing Aid Centers (EHAC) has made it their mission to help more people hear what they have been missing for less money. EHAC went against the grain of the typical hearing aid dispenser and changed the way people buy hearing aids in Oklahoma and across the nation.

Hearing aids are great technological devices and have always been very expensive. However, John Bachman changed that by starting Economy Hearing Aid Centers. Mr. Bachman is the President of EHAC, and he has more than 25 years of experience in the hearing aid industry. He formerly dispensed hearing aids just like everyone else in the business and yes, his prices were expensive as well. One day, he came across an idea that he thought just might work...and he started Economy Hearing Aid Centers.

Mr. Bachman's idea was simple: selling hearing aids for less and making less profit by operating on volume. He decided to give it a try and sell his hearing aids at literally half to two-thirds less than his competitors. He started with a hearing aid manufacturer called Audina. Audina liked the idea that was presented to them, and they decided to take a chance on the wise Oklahoman.

The plan was set, but now it needed to be proven. Mr. Bachman started by renting space in a chiropractor's office to begin his dream. The start was slow and trying, and at times, he wondered if he was really doing the right thing. As time went by, he started to see more and more people. Eventually, he had to move out of that office to a bigger office to accommodate the flow of people coming to save money. He had to hire more people to help him and open more offices around Oklahoma City to provide better service and convenience to his customers.

Years later, Mr. Bachman started promoting Starkey hearing aids which added even more flexibility for him and his employees to meet the ever-changing needs of their customers. Starkey is the largest manufacturer of custom hearing aids in the world and they believed in Mr. Bachman's company and wanted to be a part of the excitement.

Today, EHAC has many locations throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. It is one of the largest dispensing companies of hearing aids in the world. In fact, EHAC continues to grow.
